Pre Season Friendlies

by R14K MC @, Friday, July 16, 2010, 10:58

As no teams seem to have a pitch available, please see my post below about using the university pitches.

We are looking for friendlies, mainly form Division 1 teams but will play anyone at the moment.

If any teams fancy it, can you let me know via the forum or give me a call. I am happy to book the uni pitches and we can sort the money out on the day.

Any teams who have a pitch available, we can play whenever so please get in touch.

My contact details are on the contact page on the home page.

Thanks Ric (Bramhall)

If you can sort out a date mate, we are in.

Let me know asap as i am trying to sort out Pre-Season Calender.

Is it too cheeky to leave the pitch to you though?!

I dont mind booking the pitch Joe. But the recession has hit Bramhall hard so we would have to split the pitch and ref. If thats ok, let me know and I will get a pitch booked. Its likely to be the 15th of August at 10.45am. Let me asap and I will confirm on here when all is booked.

Cheers

THE DRUM MEETING

by FC Wilmslow @, Saturday, July 17, 2010, 02:19 @ R14K MC

So...last night, The Drum had a meeting.
Headed by a very intelligent man....Fodder.
Sorry, no, he's packed it in.
Just Paolo was there.
With his ramshackle team (look it up).
Most of his players have gone.
But signing for him was Hammy.....(The Subs thief)
And our illustrious skipper.....Stevie Lunt.
And even funnier....Anthony Barker.
'Not really Hursty' is his middle name.
Am I happy ?
Of course, the Drum now have officially the worst football team on the planet.
So when super intelligent Paolo is saying we wont have a team this year.
Remember, ......one of us is quite bright.
The other one is a DJ in the Swan.
The Swan......run by a real genius.
There is a way back for you.......
Just made that up Skipper....there isn't.

END OF SEASON 'DO'

by FC Wilmslow @, Saturday, July 17, 2010, 02:46 @ FC Wilmslow

As you know......Wilmslow have a 'do' at the end of the season.
Bit like other teams.
So to my players.
The Tom Hunts, the Keoghs, The Mattys, the Jackos, Kyles, and Paul, and Stuart, and Poolie and Tommo and my personal hero Dava, and the "ever present" Diggler. who beat every team in the league this year....(apart from Bramhall) .
Enjoy next week.
It's on me.
Not only a pleasure to watch....
But, proper blokes.
You coming Joe ?
Or not allowed out ?.........

THE DRUM MEETING

by Bailey @, Saturday, July 17, 2010, 13:46 @ FC Wilmslow

Oh dear they at it again???
normally its us they come looking to nick players off!
dont worry Craig the league will do absolutely nothing to help you despite the obvious poaching!
You will have the last laugh pal. i told them this summer i would sort out a list of Mersey players for them complete with phone numbers n they could try all they wanted to get them (knowing full well no one would go!) how many have gone to the Drum..........0
Word of advice though Colin and Domo both sought to give it a try at the self proclaimed Galacticos last season fortunately they both saw the light and very swiftly transfered back to the Mersey where at the end of the season........yes you guessed it............they won more silverwear thean they would have done if they stayed at that MASSIVE club from Jim Evison!. Face it guys you have had your glory years its over now (Liverpool FC springs to mind?) stop nickin everyone elses players and move aside with dignity.
P.S. this wasnt a rant i actually like a lot of the Drum ladsi was just saying what all you were thinkin!

Oh 1 more thing i will take all cash bets that Mersey finish above the Drum any takers?????

At last the forum banter is getting going again I love it and have missed it. Have been having to spend my time on Bluemoon waiting for city to buy another big name as we become the best team in the land and whilst exciting its not as much fun as this board. Another feature of a great league.

We have got Lacey green this year for a pitch as well this year thanks to some tit at the council, one of our lads in particular will be keen if what Brian says is true when I tell him about the type of grass there!

It's true mate, wonderful place to play & wonderful sweet aroma's drifting across the pitch. Hmmmmmmmmmm. Just make sure that you play a stoner on the wings/full back & you'll be alright. ;-)
