We will give you a game if you have a pitch available. What is everyone else doing about pitches. There are no nets up anywhere!

Thats the major problem Ric.

Same every year.

Best option is look to hire a pitch somewhere, but i dont know of anywhere.

Was hoping some teams might have private pitches up in the highest high which is Division 1!

If i can think of anywhere I will let you know and vice versa.

We are definitely up for it if we can find a pitch.

Don't Manchester University have pitches for hire over the summer? May be a bit out of the way (Wythenshawe way) but us and Westlands played there in August last year.

Yes we used to have a pitch we could use pre season but that has gone now aswell.

No wonder the national side are so bad, pitches get good and they take the nets, at least the cricketers are having fun on our pitches!

We could play at the uni pitches, I work it out at being around £49 per team (£76 pitch plus ref £22 =£98/2 =£49)or less if we ref it ourselves or a student books it, as they get a reduced rate.

With ref it would be around £4 per player, not ideal but at least we would get a game in.

Let me know what you think and possible dates/times and I will ring and check availabilty etc.

I am waiting to hear whether or not we have got a private pitch for next season, I will know within a few days.
