Richmond Rovers 2nds 9 - FC Tonic 1
A comfortable win in the end although when Tonic scored just before half time to make it 3 - 1 it looked like we had taken a back seat in the game!

A victory that our performance didn't really deserve. Peover will probably feel a little hard done to, but a win is a win.

With people dropping out left, right and centre during the week we knew this would be difficult....
Final score was 9-0, we gifted them a few goals but they scored some well worked ones too! Our Keeper pulled off some good saves throughout and we did have a handful of chances. Good clean game, shame we didn't bury the chance we had right at the end to take something from it.
Good luck to HL in the competition.
Well reffed by Paul Leatherbarrow, only really had to blow for offsides.

Thought D&C's keeper had a magic game, pulling off some cracking saves.

I will say nothing as I have already submitted my report. I will leave it at Disgraceful.
Not a game we would have been allowed to win.
No problems with a6 juniors and good luck to them.

Richmond were 2-0 up in 8 minutes and playing well, then a sending off for High Lane and a player carried off for us.
High Lane increased the workload to cover for the lost man and we couldn't match them. 2 goals before half time, including one of the dodgiest penalties ever seen and it's all to play for second half.
After the break a neat move by High Lane sees the ball hit the bar and after failing to clear the rebound they scored from a good strike.
We huffed and puffed all through the second half but couldn't blow their house down. They worked very hard and were deserved winners in the end.
Good Luck to High Lane in the next round.

Dire game with an even more makeshift HG side than last week. At least we had 2 subs (but no keeper, again) !!! Credit to FCG as they kept going and got their goal late on
